• Voice recordings: Audio you record through the app, which is processed for transcription and then deleted from our servers after processing.
• Transcriptions and generated content: The text transcriptions and AI-generated outputs (tweets, summaries, blogs, etc.) stored in your account.
• Usage data: Basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the ToneScribe service, including voice transcription and AI content generation.
• To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
• To improve our product and develop new features.
• To communicate with you about your account or service updates.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ToneScribe:

• Supabase: Authentication and database hosting.
• Deepgram: Voice-to-text transcription (Nova-3 model). Audio is sent for processing and is not retained by Deepgram after transcription.
• Anthropic (Claude): AI content generation. Your transcribed text is sent to generate outputs like tweets, summaries, and blog posts.
• Vercel: Application hosting.
• Google: OAuth authentication.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Voice recordings are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers — only the resulting transcription is saved to your account.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and download your data at any time.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

ToneScribe is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
